Teresa Reid
I lived my first 42 years in Oregon and graduated with a psychology degree from the University of Oregon in Eugene. I spent the next 18 years working at DMV while dealing with the ongoing saga of owning 11 rental properties. Having found love via the internet, I left Oregon six years ago and have now discovered the beauty that is upstate NY. My new hubby has a great career which has afforded me the luxury of abandoning my 8-5 job in order to pursue some ventures for which I'd previously never had time. My current endeavors include photography, layout and design work, creating websites, murals, crafts, and obviously... writing!
Other than bits of poetry, my past writing experience has been pretty limited to concise, tightly written reports regarding drivers and their abilities, letters to the editors in our local papers, as well letters of complaint and commendation. I can write a pretty mean business letter and have enjoyed helping others write letters that assist in getting ongoing issues resolved. But... I'm now ready to loosen up. I want to write and have fun with it. I'm a big kid at heart and would love to write for children. It's a very different skill set, but I'm reading a lot, joining web groups and learning to play with a very different art form.
